Samsung, LG, HTC, and Sony Ericsson support Motorola Acquisition by Google

Who will have thought if Motorola acquisition by Google was welcomed by a number of other smart phone manufacturers. Samsung, LG, Sony Ericsson, and HTC supported Google the acquisition of leading mobile phone manufacturers in the US. It could not be separated from the motivation behind the acquisition; Google's willing to set aside a budget of 12.5 billion U.S. dollars to buy Motorola. In a press statement on Monday (8/15/2011), Google asserts that the main purpose of the acquisition is to control of Motorola's patent, strengthen Android portfolio as an open source platform.
