 Besides introducing Toshiba Libretto first notebook with double monitors, Toshiba also introduced latest thin and light notebook (ultraportable). This ultraportable notebook is Toshiba Portege R700. Toshiba Portege R700 design is very slim and lightweight making them easy to carry anywhere. This 13.3-inch notebook has width only 1 inch (2.57 cm) and weight 1.39 pounds.
Although very thin, Portege R700 is supported by complete features. This notebook coated by honeycomb structure, honeycomb-shaped structure at the layer where the user's hand is placed when typing. This structure often used in the carbon layer of F-1 cars to strengthen the material without adding weight. Portege R700 Toshiba is the first notebook that uses the Fresh Water Cooling technology to make laptop stay cool despite the long use. |

Good news for Linux user today, world largest handset maker Nokia recently released first hand phone with a Linux operating system in it platform. Of course, it will push growth of many open source user who will use nokia as their handset. Linux is show significant growth recently and it show potential growth in it user. Linux is the most popular open source and free available for public to use and share it code. It seems Nokia N900 will be great move at Linux user market share; Nokia said “Linux would work well parallel with Symbian in its high-end product range”. With N900 Nokia model, Nokia offers availability such as touch screen, slide out keyboard and it seem will be sold at around 500 Euros ($712). |

 Do not want to be outdone by Apple's iPad; LG is also planning to make a tablet computer as a competitor. LG said the tablets would be used open platform, Android. Not clear, is the Sony Ericsson will leave Windows on their tablets or will use Android as a complement?
One month ago, LG has showcased a tablet UX10 prototype. This tablet has size 10.1 inch touch screen, use Atom Z530 processor, and has 1 GB RAM. Unlike the iPad, LG UX10 has a 1.3 megapixel front camera resolution, SD memory card slot, and HDMI output. Sony UX10 also has hard drives with a capacity of 120 GB and the OS Windows 7 Home Premium. |
