Apple Inc. launched a brand-new product. This time, the company that was led by Steve Jobs launched a new version of the MacBook Air. This new model is cheaper, easy, and faster than previous products. The new MacBook Air is divided into two types. The one with 11.6-inch screen sizes, while the other was 13 inches. For size 13 inches, weight only 2.9 pounds or 1.3 kilograms. Thanks to its thickness which is only 0.68 inches in the rear and only 0.16 inch in front. Compare these measurements with previous version 0.76 inches thick.
For size of 11 inches, weight just 2.3 pounds, or about 1.04 pounds. Interestingly, the price of MacBook Air is cheaper than the previous product. The price of 13-inch sizes MacBook Air ranging from 1299 dollars or 200 U.S. dollars cheaper than the previous product. Meanwhile, the small size ranges from 999 dollars per unit.
Both models of this brand-new product use Intel Core 2 Duo processor which has speeds up to 1.86 GHz. In addition, the portable computer is also equipped with Nvidia GeForce graphics card 320M. Storage capacity (hard drive) has range from 128 GB to 250 GB. Battery power for 13 inches size could reach seven hours, while a small size can reach to five hours. In addition, Apple also launched a new operating system. System-named Mac OS X Lion will slide next summer.
